MY STORY
I’ve always been an empath with a natural ability to sense people, see their true soul and feel what it is that they’re going through.
From a very young age I knew my purpose on this earth was to help others, so my gift of being able to see and understand others was the perfect gift to support this purpose.
Though that ability was a gift, because I didn’t know how to masterfully hold and utilize it, it eventually became something that was difficult to manage. The depths that I was able to feel felt overwhelming. I was sacrificing my own happiness and wellbeing to support those around me.
This led to me feeling numb, lost and confused… and i knew things had to change. I couldn’t keep living feeling that way.
This was the beginning of my healing journey.
Since that turning point, I’ve been on an ever evolving journey of testing out, trying on, and exploring new healing methodologies ranging from meditation, therapy, journaling, breath-work, tarot cards, silent meditation retreats, plant medicine ceremonies, energy healing, Reiki and more.
What made the biggest shift for me in my journey was when I began working with a Reiki energy healer.
The first session with the Reiki practitioner was nothing short of incredible. A miracle, perhaps. The visions that I myself and the practitioner saw were something I had never experienced before. Laying on the table as she hovered her hands over my body, channeling life force energy into me felt as though God herself was hugging me. It felt like I was experiencing the truth of the universe for the first time in my life.
Over the course of the year of our sessions she enabled me to release stuck trauma, blockages, and cut energetic cords. We helped to balance my chakras and open the energy centers that had been stuck closed for so long.
After experiencing this transformation myself, it became immediately clear that my path was to embark on the journey of becoming a Reiki practitioner myself.
I continued on to train under incredible healers and received my Usui Reiki Master certification.
Though I’ve done some pretty fun things in my life such as play Division 1 soccer, graduate from UC Berkeley, work on the global marketing teams of the largest companies in the world, getting the Reiki certification has been my proudest accomplishment. I did it for me. I did it because it’s in utter alignment with my soul.
I quit my corporate 9-5 tech job to pursue my purpose for being here in this lifetime: To help women and children remember their divine self. To be free. To live in the fullest expression of themself. To laugh. To love. To be.
I am SO humbled by the journey I’ve been on and cannot put into words how excited I am to be able to open up my own Reiki practice in Napa (and virtually) to share this beautiful modality with others.
